ALBERTA BUILDERS OF CHOICE - The Alberta New Home Warranty Program members are the elite of Alberta's home building industry. ANHW carefully reviews and monitors their building partners for quality, responsiveness, consistency and customer satisfaction.
PROGRAM MANDATE - The program was founded in 1974 to provide a comprehensive package of warranty protections to new homeowners. It is the first and longest standing new home warranty provider in Canada. The Program's mandate is to provide a suite of warranty products that offer comprehensive protection and provides builders and homeowners with the resources they need to resolve issues, honor specific industry standards and become better educated about the new home construction process.
1 YEAR - Labor and Materials - coverage for defects materials and labor (flooring, trim, baseboards).
2 YEARS - Delivery and Distribution Systems - coverage for defects of materials and labor related to delivery and distribution systems (plumbing, electrical and heating)
5 YEARS - Building Envelope - coverage for defects in the system of components that separate the conditioned space from unconditioned space (e.g. roof and exterior walls)
10 YEARS - Structural - coverage for load-bearing components of your home (framing and foundation).

Alberta New Home Warranty Program
Montorio is a long-standing member of the Alberta New Home Warranty program. The government has recently revised warranty coverage for homes being built after February 1, 2014. The highlights of the New Home Buyer Protection Act can be reviewed here: homewarranty.alberta.ca

POST POSSEESSION WARRANTY VISITS
THREE MONTH WARRANTY VISIT
If requested by the customer, this session is scheduled in advance of your three month possession date anniversary. Our customer service representative will contact you directly to schedule this appointment. Once this is scheduled, please submit any items you would like reviewed at this session via the three month warranty request form provided in your New Home Orientation Manual to: email@example.com. Items on this form will be assessed during this visit. Once assessed, appropriate repair appointments will be scheduled in due course.
YEAR END WARRANTY VISIT
This session occurs just prior to you your one year anniversary move in date. Our customer service representative will contact you directly to schedule this appointment. Once this is scheduled, please submit any items you would like reviewed at this session via the year end warranty request form provided in your New Home Orientation Manual to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Items on this form will be assessed during this visit. Once assessed, appropriate repair appointments will be scheduled in due course.
